In Thursday's league battle, the host Owensboro Red Devils volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Daviess County Panthers.

The Red Devils (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles come into the District 9 battle with a 16-7 record. In their last battle, Apollo achieved victory over Warren East (Bowling Green, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the North Hardin Trojans (Radcliff, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 23. Daviess County will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 15-20 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Fern Creek (Louisville, KY).
