The Magoffin County Hornets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting June Buchanan Crusaders to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.

The Hornets now possess a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paintsville for a District 57 game on Monday, September 25. Magoffin County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 18-7.

The Crusaders (3-12) will now prepare for their game against Red Bird (Beverly, KY). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Red Bird was dropped by Pineville (Pineville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
