The New Brockton Gamecocks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Pike County Bulldogs to 0 in the Gamecocks league victory on Thursday.
The Gamecocks now have a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zion Chapel for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 26. New Brockton will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 4-9.
The Bulldogs (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Opp (Opp, AL). The Bobcats enter the 3A Area 3 game with a 16-6 record. In their last game, Opp dropped by Providence Christian (Dothan, AL), 3-1, in a non-league game.
