In Thursday's league contest, the Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Van Buren County Warriors (Keosauqua, IA), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Nikes battle the Wapello Indians (Wapello, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 23. Notre Dame will attempt to better on its 21-10 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 14-11 record after their 2-0 league win over Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA).

With the loss, Van Buren County drops to 7-11 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA) to battle the Bulldogs in a SEI - South contest on Tuesday, October 3. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 11-10.
