The Patrick Henry Patriots held off the visiting Salem Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Patriots now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fleming for a non-league test on Monday, September 25. Patrick Henry will confront a Colonels team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 1-10.

The Spartans (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars enter the River Ridge test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Pulaski County was nudged by Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
