In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Sioux City East Black Raiders.

The Dutchmen (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Orabs come into the challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Sheldon edged Okoboji (Milford, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Black Raiders play the Cherokee Washington Braves (Cherokee, IA) in a challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Sioux City East will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA).
