MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, MOC-Floyd Valley improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Dutchmen host Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA) to face the Comets in a test on Thursday, September 12. The Comets go into the test with a record of 4-1. Boyden-Hull won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA)

The Black Raiders now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Sioux City for a B District 4 test on Tuesday, September 10. Sioux City East will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Vermillion (Vermillion, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-4.
