Georgia High School Softball - Franklin County holds off Oconee County

The Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) softball the visiting Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), 10-8 in Thursday's league bout.

The Lions (16-5) will now prepare for their bout against Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region 8 bout with a 6-8 record. In their last bout, Hart County by Monroe Area (Monroe, GA), 7-4, in a league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 8-13 record. They play next when they host Prince Avenue Christian for a non-league bout on Monday, September 26. Oconee County will confront a Wolverines squad coming off a 11-3 league win over Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 16-6.
