Georgia High School Softball - Woodland can't hold off Wheeler

The Wheeler Wildcats softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Woodland Wildcats to 2 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Wheeler moves its record to 5-14 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Marietta (Marietta, GA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Monday, October 3. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 10-6.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Calhoun Yellow Jackets (Calhoun, GA) in a 5A Region 7 game, on Tuesday, September 27. Woodland will attempt to move on its 11-12 season record.
