The Woodland Wildcats softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Wheeler Wildcats to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Woodland moves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Hiram (Hiram, GA) to play the Hornets in a 5A Region 7 game on Thursday, September 8. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 5-6. Hiram lost 10-1 in their recent league game against Cartersville (Cartersville, GA)

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA) in a 7A Region 5 game, on Thursday, September 8. Wheeler will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 9-2 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Harrison (Kennesaw, GA).
