Florida High School Volleyball - Citrus overwhelmed by Springstead

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Springstead Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Citrus Hurricanes.

The Eagles (16-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hernando (Brooksville, FL). The Leopards come into the non-league battle with a 5-14 record. In their last battle, Hernando lost by Lecanto (Lecanto, FL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hurricanes clash with the Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 27. Citrus will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Bears come into the battle with a 1-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL).
