The James River Midlothian Rapids topped the host Manchester Lancers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Rapids now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midlothian for a Dominion test on Tuesday, September 27.
The Lancers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Thomas Dale was knocked off by Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
