Kansas High School Volleyball - Washburn Rural over Aquinas

The Washburn Rural Blues (Topeka, KS) volleyball overcame the host Aquinas Saints (Overland Park, KS), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Washburn Rural upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Blues host Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS) to play the Jaguars in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 24. The Jaguars go into the outing with a record of 11-2. Mill Valley lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS)

The Saints now own a 16-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Miege for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 27. Aquinas will play a Stags squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to St. Teresa's Academy (Kansas City, MO). The Stags record now stands at 5-10.
