Indiana High School Volleyball - Union City Winchester Community

September 22, 2022: Winchester, IN 47394

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Winchester Community Golden Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Union City Indians.

The Golden Falcons (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Union (Modoc, IN). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Union lost by Cowan (Muncie, IN), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Indians clash with the Bradford Railroaders (Bradford, OH) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 26. Union City will attempt to advance on its 7-18 season record. The Railroaders come into the battle with a 2-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Arcanum (Arcanum, OH).

The Lady Falcons faced the Lady Indians of Union City in the first round of the 2022 Randolph County Volleyball Tournament at the Fieldhouse in Winchester Thursday evening at 6:00 pm The Lady Falcons came out on top with a 3-1 win over the Lady Indians with the following scores:
(25-17) (24-26) (25-14) (25-19) This win advances the Lady Falcons into the second round where they face the Lady Rockets of Union at 9:00 am at Randolph Southern. Following our game, Monroe Central faces Randolph Southern. The championship match will follow this game.
