The Union Grove Lions volleyball team (Gladewater, TX), went down 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hawkins Hawks (Hawkins, TX)

The Hawks (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Wildcats come into the 2A Region III District 19 challenge with a 6-14 record. In their last challenge, Big Sandy went down by Beckville (Beckville, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions encounter the Carlisle Indians (Price, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Union Grove will attempt to move on its 12-17 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 17-14 record after their 3-2 league loss to Overton (Overton, TX).
