In Monday's non-league bout, the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) volleyball team knocked off the host East Rutherford Cavaliers (Bostic, NC), by a margin of 2-0.
The Bulldogs now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to East Gaston for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23. Burns will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 9-3.
