The Spartans now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to George Wythe for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 25. Giles will play a Maroons team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Eastern Montgomery falls to 3-7 on the year. The Mustangs host Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 23. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 6-1.
