Colorado High School Softball - Alameda bounces Jefferson

The Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO) softball routed the visiting Jefferson Saints (Edgewater, CO), 20-8 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. Alameda will meet a Commanders squad coming off a 25-12 non-league loss to Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO). The Commanders record now stands at 4-10.

The Saints (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Bennett (Bennett, CO). The Tigers go into the 4A/3A Frontier test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Bennett beat Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO), 25-10, in a non-league outing.
