The South Lancaster Academy Crusaders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Fitchburg Red Raiders to 2 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Crusaders now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ayer Shirley for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 23. South Lancaster Academy will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Burncoat (Worcester, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.

The Red Raiders (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Assabet Valley RVT (Marlborough, MA). The Aztecs go into the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Assabet Valley RVT was nudged by Southbridge (Southbridge, MA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
