The South Lancaster Academy Crusaders were victorious over the visiting Fitchburg Red Raiders volleyball team by a margin of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Crusaders now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Innovation Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, September 15.

With the loss, Fitchburg drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Ayer Shirley (Ayer, MA) to play the Panthers in a Midland-Wachusett C outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Ayer Shirley won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA)
