In Monday's league challenge, the visiting McMinnville Grizzlies volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Newberg Tigers.

The Grizzlies (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR). The Vikings enter the 6A Pacific challenge with a 14-2 record. In their last challenge, Forest Grove beat Century (Hillsboro, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Century Jaguars (Hillsboro, OR) in a 6A Pacific challenge, on Wednesday, September 24. Newberg will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR).
