With the win, West Marion improves its record to 15-8 on the season. The Trojans host Sumrall (Sumrall, MS) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 21-5. Sumrall won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS)

Next, the Wildcats play the East Marion Eagles (Columbia, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Salem will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS).
