In Monday's league contest, the Sunrise Mountain Miners (Las Vegas, NV) soccer team routed the visiting Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon Pirate (Henderson, NV), by a tally of 8-3.

Next, the Miners face the Mojave Rattlers (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 3A Southern - Mountain contest, on Wednesday, September 25. Sunrise Mountain will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Rattlers enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 4-0 league win over Chaparral (Las Vegas, NV).

The Pirate (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Knights enter the 3A Southern - Mountain contest with a 7-7 record.
