With the triumph, Valwood improves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Valiants host Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA) to face the Patriots in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 24. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 13-3. Citizens Christian Academy won 8-0 in their recent league contest against Twiggs Academy (Jeffersonville, GA)
The Knights now hold a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Brookwood for a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 3 contest on Tuesday, September 24. Deerfield-Windsor will face a Warriors squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Pelham (Pelham, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-5.
