The Thornton Fractional North Meteors edged the host Bloom Blazing Trojan volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league game.
Next up, the Meteors face the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Thornton Fractional North will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 9-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL).
The Blazing Trojan now own a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crete-Monee for a Southland battle on Tuesday, September 24. Bloom will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Momence (Momence, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 7-7.
