The Menchville Monarchs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Phoebus Phantoms to 1 in the Monarchs league victory on Tuesday.

Next up, the Monarchs confront the Hampton Crabbers (Hampton, VA) in a Peninsula game, on Thursday, September 25. Menchville will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Crabbers enter the game with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bethel (Hampton, VA).

The Phantoms (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Patriots enter the Peninsula game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Denbigh was dropped by Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
