North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hickory over North Lincoln

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) and the visiting North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC), observed Hickory's volleyball team top North Lincoln by a count of 3-0.

The Red Tornadoes (19-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Blue Devils enter the Western Foothills 4A/5A contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Maiden notched a victory over Foard (Newton, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Knights encounter the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a Western Foothills 4A/5A battle, on Thursday, September 25. North Lincoln will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Red Devils enter the contest with a 1-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC).
