In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Nanih Waiya Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Leake County Gators.
The Warriors (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS). The Gators enter the Class 1A Region 5 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Leake County was defeated by Ethel (Ethel, MS), 3-0, in a league test.
The Gators now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nanih Waiya for a Class 1A Region 5 test on Tuesday, September 23. Leake County will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 7-6.
