The Nanih Waiya Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Leake County Gators to 0 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Ethel for a Class 1A Region 5 outing on Thursday, September 25. Nanih Waiya will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Noxapater (Noxapater, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 19-0.
The Gators (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS). The Bobcats go into the Class 1A Region 5 outing with a 6-13 record.
