Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX) and the visiting Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX), observed Nederland's volleyball team top Sterling by a count of 3-0.

The Bulldogs (14-16) will now prepare for their contest against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Titans enter the 5A Region III District 19 contest with a 5-17 record. In their last contest, Port Arthur Memorial was knocked off by Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Rangers battle the West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 battle, on Friday, September 26. Sterling will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record. The Bruins go into the battle with a 20-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Lee (Baytown, TX).
