Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN), 3-0 in a league challenge.

With the win, Volunteer advances its record to 15-6 on the season. The Falcons host Cherokee (Rogersville, TN) to face the Chiefs in a AA District 2 test on Thursday, September 25. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 11-4.

The Patriots now sport a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grainger for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25.
