Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Volunteer upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host West Ridge (Blountville, TN) to play the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. West Ridge lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN)

The Patriots (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Hampton (Hampton, TN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Hampton beat Happy Valley (Elizabethton, TN), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
