The Longhorns now sport a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Kearney Catholic for a non-league match on Tuesday, September 27. Chase County will face a Stars squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Stars record now stands at 11-14.

With the loss, Bayard moves to 1-14 on the season. The Tigers host Alliance (Alliance, NE) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, September 29. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 9-18. Alliance lost 10-0 in their recent league match against Gering (Gering, NE)
