The Hudson Hornets volleyball team (Lufkin, TX), went down 3-1 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Jacksonville Fightin' Indians (Jacksonville, TX)

The Fightin' Indians (3-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Wildcats come into the 4A Region III District 18 challenge with a 8-17 record. In their last challenge, Palestine went down by Bullard (Bullard, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Madisonville Mustangs (Madisonville, TX) in a 4A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Hudson will attempt to move on its 10-16 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 15-16 record after their 3-0 league win over Rusk (Rusk, TX).
