In Tuesday's league outing, the host Grants Pass Cavemen soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 win over the Roseburg Indians.

The Cavemen (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Crater (Central Point, OR). The Comets come into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Crater was overwhelmed by North Salem (Salem, OR), 7-0, in a non-league test.

The Indians now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sheldon for a 6A Southwest test on Thursday, September 26. Roseburg will clash with a Irish team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Willamette (Eugene, OR). The Irish record now stands at 4-3.
