In Tuesday's league test, the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), by a tally of 14-1.

Next, the Leopards clash with the Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 8 test, on Thursday, September 26. Banks County will attempt to advance on its 23-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 9-11 record after their 2-1 league loss to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA).

The Patriots (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Commerce (Commerce, GA). The Tigers go into the 1A D-I Region 8 test with a 7-14 record. In their last test, Commerce prevailed over Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA), 8-1, in a league test.
