Nebraska High School Volleyball - Palmer Burwell

Burwell Longhorns (Burwell, NE) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Burwell improves its record to 6-7 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE) to face the Red Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Red Hornets go into the test with a record of 9-4. Heartland Lutheran lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Axtell (Axtell, NE)

The Tigers now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harvard for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Palmer will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Giltner (Giltner, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-16.
