In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Northwood Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Chilhowie Warriors.

The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA). The Indians come into the Hogoheegee challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Rural Retreat lost by Honaker (Honaker, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA) in a Hogoheegee challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Chilhowie will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Holston (Damascus, VA).
