The Washington-Liberty Generals volleyball squad (Arlington, VA), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA)

With the win, Herndon improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Langley (McLean, VA) to encounter the Saxons in a Liberty battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Saxons go into the battle with a record of 13-1.

The Generals now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yorktown for a Liberty battle on Thursday, September 26. Washington-Liberty will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-8.
