Texas High School Volleyball - Port Neches-Groves over Sterling

In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Port Neches-Groves Indians volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Sterling Rangers.

The Indians (20-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Titans come into the 5A Region III District 19 challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Port Arthur Memorial lost by Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rangers play the Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 challenge, on Friday, September 27. Sterling will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 17-18 record after their 3-0 league win over West Brook (Beaumont, TX).
