In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Richards Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Thornton Fractional North Meteors.

The Bulldogs (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL). The Bengals come into the South Suburban challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Oak Forest lost by Lemont (Lemont, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Meteors play the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 27. Thornton Fractional North will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Boilermakers come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Minooka (Minooka, IL).
