White Mountains Spartans (Whitefield, NH) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH), 3-0 in a league outing.

The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Berlin (Berlin, NH). The Mountaineers go into the Division III outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Berlin Kennett (Conway, NH), 1-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Bears confront the Belmont Red Raiders (Belmont, NH) in a Division III outing, on Saturday, September 27. Winnisquam will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Red Raiders go into the outing with a 5-2 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH).
