The Winnisquam Bears soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting White Mountains Spartans to 2 in the Bears league victory on Friday.
Next, the Bears face the Belmont Red Raiders (Belmont, NH) in a Division III contest, on Monday, September 8. Winnisquam will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Red Raiders enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 3-2 league win over Mascoma (Canaan, NH).
The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Colebrook Academy (Colebrook, NH). The Mohawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Colebrook Academy was nipped by Portsmouth Christian Academy (Dover, NH), 6-0, in a non-league contest.
