Next, the Blue Comets face the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A contest, on Wednesday, September 27. Asheboro will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 4-6 record after their 4-0 league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
