The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) and the host Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA), saw Louisa County's volleyball squad beat Caroline by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Louisa County upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to play the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Flying Flucos go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Fluvanna County lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA)

The Cavaliers now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Courtland for a Battlefield bout on Tuesday, September 26. Caroline will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-6.
