The South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) softball routed the host Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA), 13-3 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glynn Academy for a 5A Region 1 outing on Thursday, September 26. South Effingham will encounter a Terrors team coming off a 6-4 league loss to South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Terrors record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Brunswick moves to 8-10 on the season. The Pirates travel to Ware County (Waycross, GA) to encounter the Gators in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 26. The Gators come into the outing with a record of 3-11. Ware County lost 16-4 in their recent league outing against Perry (Perry, GA)
