Nebraska High School Softball - Plattsmouth drops to Nebraska City

The Plattsmouth Blue Devils softball squad (Plattsmouth, NE), was routed 19-2 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Nebraska City Pioneers (Nebraska City, NE)

With the triumph, Nebraska City improves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Pioneers host Malcolm (Malcolm, NE) to play the Clippers in a non-league game on Saturday, September 27. The Clippers enter the game with a record of 11-10. Malcolm lost 11-3 in their recent non-league game against Platteview (Springfield, NE)

The Blue Devils now hold a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Beatrice for a non-league game on Saturday, September 27. Plattsmouth will battle a Orangemen team coming off a 10-5 league win over Crete (Crete, NE). The Orangemen record now stands at 21-4.
