Nebraska High School Volleyball - Amherst tips Overton

September 25, 2025: Overton, NE 68863

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Amherst Broncos volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Overton Eagles.

The Broncos (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Grand Island Central Catholic nudged Aquinas (David City, NE), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Giltner for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. Overton will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE). The Hornets record now stands at 7-6.
