In Thursday's non-league match, the Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights (Las Vegas, NV) volleyball squad overcame the host Amplus Academy Archers (Las Vegas, NV), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Knights battle the Legacy Longhorns (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Southern - Sun bout, on Monday, September 29. Mater Academy East Las Vegas will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Longhorns come into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV).

With the loss, Amplus Academy drops to 5-13 on the campaign. The Archers host Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Dragons in a 4A Southern - Mountain bout on Monday, September 29. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Doral Academy Red Rock won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Clark (Las Vegas, NV)
