The Carolina Forest Panthers beat the host Socastee Braves volleyball team by a tally of 3-1 in Thursday's league outing.

The Panthers now have a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to St. James for a AAAA Region 6 outing on Tuesday, September 30. Carolina Forest will play a Sharks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Atlantic Collegiate Academy (Conway, SC). The Sharks record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Socastee drops to 2-13 on the campaign. The Braves travel to North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC) to play the Chiefs in a AAAA Region 6 outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Chiefs go into the game with a record of 24-3. North Myrtle Beach lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Pickens (Pickens, SC)
